Field Trips

Short, place-based creative experiences that combine travel, observation, and making. These day-long excursions invite participants to explore landscapes, towns, or historic sites through sketching, writing, and attentive looking. Each Field Trip is designed as a shared act of discovery—slowing down in a specific place and learning to see it differently through creative practice.

Day Workshops (papermaking & studio practice)

Hands-on studio sessions focused on material exploration and craft-based learning.

These workshops introduce techniques such as papermaking, printmaking, cyanotypes, bookbinding, offering participants the opportunity to work directly with materials and learn the basics. Emphasis is placed on experimentation, skill-building, and the tactile experience of making.

Each workshop includes guided instruction in the morning and open studio practice in the afternoon, with a lunch break in between. All materials, equipment, and studio space are provided.

Day Workshops are designed for small groups (minimum of 4 participants, maximum depends on the process) to maintain an intimate and supportive learning environment. Workshops are $200 per person. Lunch can be arranged for an additional fee.
