Travel Sketchbook Workshop at Bluestem Farm (9/27/26)
Travel Sketchbook Workshop at Bluestem Farm (9/27/26)
Join me on Sunday, September 27th for a day of creativity, close looking, and slow exploration at Bluestem Farm, a beautiful flower farm just outside Jackson, Mississippi.
Throughout the day, you'll explore the farm through guided observation exercises before learning practical techniques for combining watercolor, sketching, writing, and personal observations into engaging journal spreads. Sue Carrie will offer instruction through demonstrations and individual feedback, showing how artists collect inspiration, organize visual information, and create pages that capture not just what you see, but how a place feels.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to be creative! No drawing or watercolor experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome, and experienced artists will find new approaches to observation, composition, and creative practice.
